2013 Pritchett Peaks Vineyard Zinfandel

Dark magenta in color.   The Pritchett Peaks Zinfandel exudes a powerful nose of black fruits and sweet spice. A wonderful fleshy mouthful, stony minerality, a hint of pepper with balanced refreshing acidity and a lingering smooth finish.

*eRobertParker.com #223 – March 2016, 89+pts “… It displays notes of crushed rock and underbrush in a crisp, elegant, cooler style than the Bacigalupi. Black and red currants, crisp acids, and good spice and earth are all present in this wine, which also displays some tannin in the finish. This is likely to get better over the next several years and drink well for at least a decade.”

*Zinfandel Chronicles - Oct 2015, 92pts " Violet in color. 15% ABV. Black fruits, cocoa powder and spice on the nose. Big and rich with classic texture. Black cherry, blackberry, plums and pepper on the palate. Awesome Claret style Zinfandel. Drink over the next 3-5 years."
