Wine Spectator - February 2018 - 91pts "Starts slow but builds gracefully, accented by a mix of gravel, dark berry, lavender and anise notes. Drink now through 2026." -J.L.

PinotFile – November 12th, 2017 - 92pts
"Moderately light garnet color in the glass. Seductive aromas of fresh cold berries, spice and turned earth.  A mouthful of Pinot goodness in a mid weight plus style featuring an impressive expression of black cherry fruit underlain with notes of warm spices and tobacco. Easy to like now, with micro grain tannins, supportive acidity, and a flattering finish."

Winesofnote.com - November, 2017 - 91pts
"The color is a bright, translucent ruby with a pale pink rim. The nose is not shy, it rises from the glass to greet you with cedar shavings, graphite, raspberry and hints of fresh baked bread. Very inviting. The flavors are bold yet ethereal. Rich fruit up front; blackberry, ripe cherry, tart cranberry that fades into an earthy layer with notes of leather and tobacco. Silky tannins. It has a long warming finish with a touch of oak...  This wine is a great example of how good a Pinot Noir can be. As good as it is now, it’s youth is evident. A year or two in the cellar would do wonders."

Zinfandel Chronicles, November 2017 – 93pts "Light crimson in color. 14.2% ABV. Spellbinding nose of red fruits, forest floor and baking spices. Medium body with ample acidity. Restrained and earthy. Bing cherries, cranberries and earth on the palate. The finish is long and spicy. The wine picks up weight with time in the glass. Well made Pinot Noir. Drink over the next 4-6 years."

Connoisseur's Guide to California Wine, January 2018 - 92pts "Wonderment’s first-rate Zinfandel reviewed earlier in this issue finds an equally impressive partner in this carefully constructed Sauvignon Blanc, and the latter garners very high marks for its unwavering varietal focus and fine fruity depth. It is moderately full-bodied and loaded with concentrated, lightly herbal, lemon-tinged fruit, and, as inviting as it is in its youth, it conveys an uncommon sense of reserve that is the harbinger of great things to come. Well-made Sauvignon Blanc has the ability to age and improve for many years, and this serious offering is one that is destined to do so famously."

Zinfandel Chronicles, November 2017 - 90pts
"Light straw in color. 14.4% ABV. Delightful nose of stone fruits, lemongrass and minerals. Medium body with bright acidity. Rich and somewhat oily. Pineapple, lemon oil and pears on the palate. The finish lingers. Super Sauvignon Blanc. Drink over the next 2-3 years."

(2) 2013 Dutton-Campbell Pinot Noir - 90pts
"The pliant and lush flavors are rich to the point of being almost opulent yet the definition isn't blurry on the saline and clean finish that delivers sneaky good persistence."

(2) 2014 Dutton-Campbell Pinot Noir - 91pts
"Once again there is a lovely sense of underlying tension and delineation to the medium-bodied flavors that possess better mid-palate density while retaining good energy on the complex, balanced and focused finale."

(1) 2013 Dr. Stan's Pinot Noir - 89pts
"A ripe, fresh if presently brooding nose requires aggressive swirling to coax the spicy red pinot fruit, cherry and soft plum nuances that are trimmed in subtle oak and spice wisps to reveal themselves."

(1) 2014 Dr. Stan's Pinot Noir - 90pts
"The suave, round and delicious middle weight flavors possess good verve and delineation while delivering solid depth and persistence on the well-balanced finale."

Dark violet in color bordering on black.  The 2014 vintage of this half acre of dry farmed petite sirah again shows its power, density and tannic backbone via a mouthful of black and blue fruits.  The wine is bright and vibrant with an endless finish. The 2014 vintage of Dr. Stan’s Vineyard again shows its old vine Dijon 115 roots. Ruby red in color, the nose reveals a core of red fruits - raspberries, cherry and strawberry dominate with a hint of baking spice that has been prevalent in prior vintages. Well balanced with medium weight on the palate. The wine finishes with lively acidity , length and elegant tannins. As with the 2013 this small production Pinot Noir will continue to improve with age and time in the bottle.

*RobertParker.com #227 – October 28th, 2016 - 89pts “The 2014 Pinot Noir Dr. Stan’s Vineyard is a surprising 30+-year-old Pinot Noir planting of Dijon clone 115. It exhibits soft, strawberry, plum and sweet cherry notes, has a medium-ruby color, a lush, spicy mouthfeel and excellent balance. It is seductive, medium-weight and could easily pass in a blind tasting for a Premier Cru from the Côte de Beaune. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.”

Light honey in color with wonderful similarities to the 2013 Hyde Semillon. The 2014 Hyde Semillon exhibits aromas of crisp lemongrass and honeysuckle with flavors of stone fruit, with a slightly fuller mid-palate than the previous year. The wine is wonderfully balanced with crisp acidity that provides for a seamless and complete finish.

*RobertParker.com #227 – Oct 28th, 2016 - 90pts “Stephanie Cook’s touch with white wine seems impressive as well. Take for example the 2015 Semillon Hyde Vineyard. This is a large vineyard with many different varieties planted, but this 100% Semillon exhibits crisp, almost Chardonnay-like texture, notes of candle wax, lanolin, citrus blossom and an intriguing spiciness. It is medium-bodied with crisp acids and an alluring overall style. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.”
